The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.

Little Monster

I have always heard the stories of Doug and what a mess he made as a child whenever he ate. I haven't heard any of these stories about myself.....but was I this messy mom??



She was in an AWFUL mood during dinner. She was tired, wanted to eat, but then didn't, she kept smearing food EVERYWHERE. Her hair is getting quite long and of course when she is tired or mad she is getting in the habit of pulling at it. Her hair was completely matted with food! She was moving around so much I couldn't even get a good picture of the back of it. You can see the big chunks of finger foods there though :)







This is our little angel monster!!  (who needed a bath before bedtime)

No Kristina you were not that messy! You did not pull at your hair like Ella does. You did however like to squish food in your hands, especially bananas. But you didn't get it all over yourself or even throw it on the floor like Jason did. Maybe that's because you hated to have your face washed. Love ya, Mom
