Sandy Beach....a girl can dream!

Lately the weather has been a bit of a tease. A few weeks ago it was absolutely beautiful and we thought for sure Spring was here. Then it got really cold again. Just this past weekend our walk involved winter coats, hats and gloves. I am longing to pack all our winter clothes away and spend some time on a sandy beach. I haven't been to the beach in years!!

Holland is a VERY sandy place. They have some beaches along the coast but it's either too cold to go, or it's the week in the summer where it's so darn hot you don't dare go. Last year we thought going with Ella was not the best of ideas. She was suffering from her eczema so badly that we stayed away from anything we thought might irritate it. Maybe this summer we'll get a chance to check out a beach here.

For now I can dream of my beach trip while I sweep up the sand that accumulates around our entryway on a DAILY basis! Thank goodness we take our shoes off when we come in. I don't want to imagine how "sandy" our whole house would be. (maybe we could just build our own beach?!)
