- The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.

Favorite Time of the Year
Fall......our favorite time of the year. This means it's time for mums, pumpkins and brisk air. Today there is definitely that brisk Fall smell to the air. I made sure to open the windows after I finished my weekly cleaning. Ella and I had to get some groceries this morning and the shop had sunflowers on sale (only 3 euro for the bunch) Another favorite of mine during Fall. They look great on the table and help to remind us that Fall is here. We are counting down the days until we're home for the Fall we miss the most. Even if the leaves are not colored or even there, the combination of the Fall season in the air and being at home couldn't make this time of year any better. Only 29 days for Ella and Kristina and 42 days for Doug!
