- The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Messy = Fun
Since becoming a mom, I have had to TRY (key word here) to get past my OCD when it comes to neatness. Thankfully Ella doesn't like too much of a mess either and is wonderful at picking up her toys. So even though I expect things to be neat and tidy, it doesn't mean we can't get messy once in a while. Throughout the winter it involved paint, but with the nicer weather I decided to let Ella try out the sidewalk chalk. It took a few lectures of "not in your mouth" from mommy and one actual taste of the chalk before Ella didn't try and taste the colored pieces again.
Ella had a great time and so did I. We may have had chalk dust all over us, but messy = fun!
