Today, for the first time since before Ella's birthday, her and I went back to her swim class. I was afraid she wouldn't like the water anymore it's been so long. I had plans to ride my bike there but woke up a bit too sore from yesterday's workout. I was sure it was going to be really cold pedaling too. That was two good excuses to just take the bus (ohh and excuse #3, the bus is faster).
I was presently surprised when we walked out the door and it was nice out. The sun was even trying to poke out and has been out most of the day!! (so exciting for this time of year here)
Since Ella is one year old now, she got to move up to the next class. She was more interested in saying "baby" every time she got near one of the other kids than the water. They do a bit more in this class and it lasts much longer. The water was quite cold today and her poor teeth were chattering by the time we were finished.
Since the extra time in the pool made her tired and cold, we didn't say for any free swim and play in one of the side pools. Instead she enjoyed a small snack......swimming always use to make me so hungry too!

About Us
- The Wilcox Family
- The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.
