For a few weeks now Ella gets closer and closer to trying to walk solo. As long as she has a hold of something (even if it's a finger nail) and has the comfort of someone near (for example your arms are near her waist but not touching her) she has had more confidence to take a few steps. But for weeks this has continued on and on. The video camera has been left out....just waiting!! Every time she stands and starts for that one step mommy runs for the camera. Unfortunately, before it's even turned on Ella has decided it's faster to crawl and is halfway across the room.
Tonight the moment of truth arrived. She walked clear across the living room from daddy to mommy and then back, never once falling down, and not holding onto a thing. Look out world....here comes Ella!
