The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.

Sunday Sunshine

It was so beautiful outside that we just had to enjoy the sunshine. The dogs enjoyed running around the yard and soaking up the sunshine.



Ella played, crawled around and even picked the grass but in no time she was sleepy.



While she napped we tried out our new toy.


We didn't have a blender and have been wanting to try and make smoothies. I have a very small one I use for making Ella's baby food but with her eating more and more all the time it was getting hard to use. Making her food with this one will be a lot easier. We were very relunctant for awhile about getting anything electronic. Everything we brought with us from the U.S. we have to plug into a special converter box before plugging it into the European outlet. We didn't want to end up doing that will European appliances once we move back (and yes.....we will move back SOMEDAY!!!) But we finally gave in.


"His and Hers" brunch with our first smoothie of many. I guess we can still have a few "his and hers" moments at least.
