Ella isn't much of a television kid. It probably has to do with the fact that we don't have it on when she's around playing. Also there isn't anything in English for her to watch. Every other day or so, we do let her watch one of her Baby Einstein dvds. SHE LOVES THEM!!! As soon as you get the dvd box out she gets extremely excited. She intently watches every second of the movies too. She is beginning to make some connections.
This giraffe on the movie looks a lot like her toy. When it goes across the screen she starts babbling in baby talk (as if to tell us that it is her giraffe.)
It is really cute to watch her get so excited. It's the little things in life and she helps me to see that each and every day.
This frog waves. Ella waved back to the frog for the first time the other day when she was watching the movie. Of course I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. She is waving more and more now. Mostly when you say "Hi" or she sees the dogs. Check out her babysite for a video of her waving.

About Us
- The Wilcox Family
- The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.
