The title for our blog came from the saying "thinking outside the box", which means to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. "Enjoy your choices and enjoy what you do. Never let a day go by without being thankful for the fact that you get to be here in the first place." Hopefully this blog will help family and friends to stay a little closer to us even though were thousands of miles apart; as well as to share in our trials, daily life adventures and traveling experiences.

Easter Surprise


Doug came home from work last night with an early Easter surprise for me. I think once the flowers bloom they will be hyacinths. The chocolate bunny is just too neat to eat. It isn't solid milk chocolate but each piece is made separately and then melted together to make this neat little guy!! I saw a display of a whole bunch of different easter creatures in a window when we were downtown. Next time we are there I'm going to take a picture because there were baby chicks, bunnies in all different kinds of chocolate and bird houses with very elaborate details.
