It's Christmas day! We miss our family, but are enjoying the holiday, just the two of us and Chloe and Tucker. After finally finding a butcher to buy a ham, and some ingredients for some favorite family recipes, we are making our own Christmas dinner.
Nefit, where Doug works gave us a nice gift. It came in a huge box. Once unwrapped we found lots of Dutch goodies, (candy, crackers, bread spreads, wine, beer) a fire pit and fleece blanket. We can't wait to try out the firepit when we go camping in the spring.
Christmas is very low-key this year. With the move and buying a car, funds are low. We are saving to start traveling closer to the spring. There is still some snow on the ground, but as it continues to get warmer, the big fluffy snowflakes we woke up to are now coming down as rain! Looks like it will be a lazy day of good food, snuggling and movies!
Merry Christmas!!!!
